Skygrid Completes Joint Commissioning & Adaptation of Intelligent Transfer Cabinets with DJI M400 UAV System

Skygrid’s intelligent transfer cabinets achieve deep integration with the DJI M400 UAV across three dimensions: mechanical structure, software system and scheduling algorithm. At the hardware level, high-precision automatic cargo transfer between the UAV and intelligent transfer cabinet is realized. At the software level, cross-device data exchange and command linkage are enabled. At the algorithm level, global collaborative scheduling logic is established to unify task sequencing, conflict handling and dynamic decision-making, forming a closed loop of air-ground integrated full-link unmanned delivery.

Centimeter-level precise autonomous takeoff and landing, all-weather high-frequency operations
Skygrid integrates RTK high-precision positioning with visual guidance algorithms, achieving deep coordination with the onboard perception system of DJI M400. After receiving mission instructions, the UAV flies to the airspace above the intelligent transfer cabinet, automatically completes position calibration, and lands accurately and steadily on the takeoff-and-landing platform of the transfer cabinet. The whole process requires no manual intervention, meeting the demands of all-weather, high-frequency continuous operations.

Air-ground integrated global scheduling, full-link digital control
Skygrid independently developed the Skygrid Cloud, an air-ground integrated intelligent management system, enabling two-way data communication with the DJI M400. The platform delivers one-stop orchestration of order management, waybill scheduling, flight monitoring, route planning and facility operation & maintenance. It monitors flight battery level, compartment door status and cargo information in real time, to truly realize end-to-end unmanned operation capability.

Open interfaces compatible with multiple UAV models, reducing system construction costs.
The intelligent transfer cabinet adopts a standardized open interface design. It can quickly be compatible with logistics UAVs of multiple brands and models to realize automatic transfer and mixed scheduling operations for diverse UAV models. The generalized design substantially cuts the deployment cost of low-altitude logistics networks, improves the reuse efficiency of ground stations, and accelerates the large-scale networking of low-altitude infrastructure.

Going forward, Skygrid will continue to iterate intelligent equipment for low-altitude logistics delivery, expand compatibility with more devices including UAVs, UGVs and robots, and continuously refine full-link intelligent delivery solutions for low-altitude logistics. Together with industry partners, the company will help more cities build safe, efficient and scalably operable low-altitude logistics delivery systems, advancing unmanned delivery from demonstration scenarios to regular commercial operation.
