Secretary Bao Shunfu of Taizhou Bay New Area Leads Delegation on Inspection Visit to SkyGrid
On April 23, Bao Shunfu, Member of the Party Leadership Group of Taizhou Municipal People's Government, Secretary of the Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of Taizhou Bay New Area, led a delegation to visit Zhejiang SkyGrid Technology Co., Ltd. to inspect the development of the low-altitude logistics delivery industry.
Secretary Bao and his delegation visited the manufacturing area and flight testing area for SkyGrid’s intelligent low-altitude logistics delivery equipment. They observed the entire workflow of R&D, design, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of intelligent transfer cabinets on site, and learned in detail about the company’s production line planning and layout, iterative product R&D progress and project implementation progress. Secretary Bao affirmed the company’s proactive exploration in intelligent equipment R&D and industrial chain layout.
At the unmanned logistics delivery testing area, the delegation watched a full-process on-site demonstration of the low-altitude logistics delivery mini-program. The complete closed loop — from user order placement, merchant order acceptance, intelligent UAV dispatching, cargo transfer and transport, cargo access via intelligent transfer cabinets to user pickup — intuitively demonstrated the high efficiency and convenience of the integrated "air + ground" unmanned delivery model, laying a solid foundation for building a new unmanned logistics delivery ecosystem across the industry.
At the symposium, Hong Jun, head of SkyGrid, delivered a detailed report on the progress of low-altitude logistics delivery pilot projects, the full-region deployment plan in Taizhou and future development layout. Secretary Bao fully affirmed SkyGrid’s achievements in technological innovation and industrial layout. He clearly stated that the New Area will fully support the implementation of unmanned delivery demonstration scenarios, take the initiative to coordinate key elements such as takeoff and landing sites, route planning and scenario deployment, and coordinate policy, venue and resource guarantees. These efforts will support the company in accelerating the layout of a full-region low-altitude logistics delivery network in Taizhou, fostering industrial cluster advantages, and injecting new momentum from the low-altitude economy into the high-quality development of Taizhou Bay New Area.
